First of all I simply wanted to make it clear that this piece is very much captivating! The soft dark colors not only in the background but all over the photo make it calm and relaxing, especially for some Dr Pepper! (Ah my favorite soft drink! Goes perfectly well with the soft aspect in this photo eh). The sparkle thingies you have added as if the girl is blowing some sort of wish through the can of Dr Pepper adds a lot to this simple yet elegant and very well done photo. I am unaware of this contest but good luck! You did a great job here!

Overall, I love this (makes me intimidated to create mine if I get around to it). The composition and colors are fantastic and I love the hair. Those parts are my favorite. I think that the circles, stars, and dots that come after the drink are a nice idea but there are some that stand out in the drawing too much and the pink you used also seems to compete with the drink. The idea is great, but maybe a different way to execute it such as dulling the colors/sticking to reds and changing the opacity on the shapes that stand out the most. My favorite part is the hair - you did a fantastic job creating realistic curly hair and I love the colors you used, rather than just brown. Good luck!
